Notes

    (9/16/2022) - The GOES-R Peer/Stakeholder Product Validation Review (PS-PVR) Panel declared the GOES-18 MAG products at Provisional Maturity on September 16, 2022. With this declaration, CLASS is given direction to release these products back to Beta Maturity. The ReadMe files explain appropriate usage and caveats for the data, and these data should NOT be used scientifically without first examining the information in these ReadMe files.

    (11/12/2018) - The GOES-R Peer/Stakeholder Product Validation Review (PS-PVR) Panel declared the GOES-16 MAG products at Provisional Maturity on August 29, 2018. With this declaration, CLASS is given direction to release these products back to Beta Maturity.

    The ReadMe files explain appropriate usage and caveats for the data, and these data should NOT be used scientifically without first examining the information in these ReadMe files. While the GOES-16 MAG-L1b-GEOF data have reached provisional validation, please keep in mind that these products have not been fully validated.

    Aggregated daily versions of the granular data available in CLASS are available through the NCEI GOES-R Space Weather Site. Please contact at goesr.mag@noaa.gov.
