Beginning Orbit NumberAn integer representing the number of the orbit at the start of the data collection for a data granule. The orbit number is incremented at each ascending node equatorial crossing. |

Dataset NameThe name of the Level 1B data set archived at CLASS. The name has the following format: ProductID_npp_dyyyymmdd where ProductID=any 5-character data product ID, yyyy=4-digit year, mm=2-digit month, dd=2-digit day or entire dataset name. |

DatatypeThese are the following types of NPP Data Products: Raw Data Records (RDRs), Sensor Data Records (SDRs), Temperature Data Records (TDRs), Deliverable Intermediate Products (IPs), Environmental Data Records (EDRs), Application Related Products (ARPs) |

Granule IDThe unique identifier for each RDR granule composed of the concatenation of two components: (1) The three character satellite identifier, (2) A zero left filled, 12 character number, specifying the number of tenths of a second since the first ascending node after launch. |

SatelliteAbbreviation that identifies the satellite that acquired the dataset. |

SpatialRefers to the geographic area of interest to the user. This section of the search page allows the user to define the geographic area of interest. |
