(Posted 07/02/2018) J1 implementation of SZIP in the JPSS OMPS RDRs requires SZIP and knowledge of compression parameters. Further information available at https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/jpss/OMPS.php.

(Posted 09/21/2017) On December 21, 2011, OMPS calibration RDRs were missing and reflowed from the ground station on December 31, 2011. The revolution number that corresponded to this data was no longer present and these RDRs were delivered to CLASS with orbit number set to 0, both in the file name and in the metadata. However the filename does contain the correct start and stop time of the observed data.
